I just rediscovered all these Tileable Wood Textures from Backgrounds Etc. (they’re a kissing cousin to one of my most favorite sites WebTreats) and they have tileable wood textures in just about every color of the rainbow (yes, quite literally), but this site is about all things “Vintage Retro Grunge,” so I’ll try to stay on topic, since anything chartreuse, vermilion or magenta might look amiss.
Having made the above disclaimer, I just wasn’t able to resist including some of these “livelier” wood tiled textures…and, if you, in spite of your love of all things vintage, retro & grunge, are also not immune to the occasional charm of some eye (popping) candy (colored) textures, then you’ll want to at least take a peak at the “tileable wood sweets” below.
Btw…there are 160 color variations in Background Etc’s collection of free high resolution (512 x 1024 .jpg) tileable wood textures! Something pleasing for every possible (color) palate (or palette) under the sun!
