About Us

I’m creating this site as a sort of personal (and public) visual repository for the thousands of digital images I’ve bookmarked and saved for a rainy day (and to teach myself how to use WordPress). I know how fabulously time-consuming it can be when trolling the infinite web waters for materials for one’s artistic endeavors ~ and I know how time-consuming it is to sift through countless bookmarks & image files to find the right textures, backgrounds, icons, fonts etc. when you need them.

To that end, I hope this site will, one day (when it “grows up”), be a sort of “quick reference guide” for all things “Vintage”, “Retro” & “Grunge” in web design ~ and I’m experimenting with creating “image galleries” as a way of providing a more user-friendly & entertaining experience (for you & for me), than having to scroll down seemingly interminable posts.
